There are many people in the world, there is a lot of information and so people have extremely much ways of getting this information. And I’d like to tell you what kids of mass-media are in Ukraine.

      For example, one of the most wide-spread types of media is radio. You can enjoy it wherever you are, at work, home, in supermarkets, etc. There are different programmes of radio, for example the most popular are “Radio Feel,” “Hit FM”, “Russian Radio”,” Europe Plus” etc . There are lots of music, news and advertisements there. I don’t listen to the radio much, but my favourite programme is “Hit Fm”, because there is a lot of good music.

     Watching TV is common way of getting information about different famous people in chat shows, politics in news and games, winning which you can get wonderful prizes, in game shows likes “Lotto Zabava.”  

For example, I watch TV to see my favourite heroes of soap opera “Cadets” on 1+1, my beloved programme. And I watch TV more the 7 hours a week.

As for magazines, they are various, too. They can be about current affairs, cars, films, “TV-week”, or fashion, “Burda”. There is a great amount of useful information there about stars, politics, fashion or music. I regularly buy two magazines. They are  “The young lady” and “Mademuazelle”.They are very interesting and it is told about different stories in our life, fashion, music, films, etc, there.

     To talk about newspapers, there are different kinds of them too. For example, they can be local, “The south”, “Evening Odessa,” popular, “Facts”, “Today”, etc. As for me, I don’t like newspapers, but my grandmothers are fond of them very much.

     Speaking about the internet, I can say that it came into our life and even became part of it. All the information you need you can get from numerous websites of the internet. If you want to find a pen friend, you can use excellent computer programme, chat room called ICQ. I use the internet very often, either to find some additional information, or to chat in chat room.

So, to make a conclusion, I can say, that there are different ways of   getting information that can be used to get additional knowledge to your    life.
